Press service at the Special Prosecution office said in a release that senior officials of Croatia’s USKOK, accompanied by high-level OPDAT officials in Albania and Croatia, met with SPAK chief Altin Dumani and SPAK prosecutors on February 21-22.

The aim of the visit was to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fight against corruption and organized crime.

“Discussions focused on ways of cooperation and best experience and expertise sharing, the challenges facing the two justice bodies as they step up their fight against corruption and international organized crime. Exchanging information on investigations into money laundering in Croatia, immovable property transactions, shell companies and funds channeled via Albania, and future cooperation between SPAK and USKOK were the main topics,” press office said.
