Verma, has conducted a working visit to Tirana.

In a social media post, U.S. Secretary of State for Management and Resources, Richard R. Verma, shared several photos from the meetings held.

In his post, Verma emphasizes that the U.S. aims to deepen cooperation to strengthen democracy, security, and support those in need.
“Landed in beautiful Albania! Excited to begin my visit and work with our partners on strengthening democracy, security, and supporting those in need,” he says in a post published on X.

The U.S. Embassy in Tirana announced on Tuesday that the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, Richard R. Verma, will travel to Albania, Kosovo, and Serbia from January 7-11.

According to the announcement, in Tirana, he will discuss Albania’s democratic progress, defense capabilities, and the deepening of economic ties with the United States, as well as thank the Albanian government for its continued support to Afghan allies, the U.S. Department of State reports.
