“Today, we celebrate a historic day! The U.S. Embassy in Tirana was re-opened on October 1, 1991, with Christopher Hill as Chargé d’Affaires ad interim and later succeeded by U.S. Ambassador William Ryersonm,” the US embassy in Tirana says in a posting on its FB account.

“ 30 years later, Ambassador Yuri Kim opened her residence to Albanian Foreign Ministers, Ambassadors, youth leaders, civil society partners, and others who have played a critical role in building the U.S.-Albania relationship over the years, to celebrate this important milestone of renewed relations between our countries.
