TIRANA, Dec 4 /ATA/ During his stay in the US, Prime Minister Edi Rama visited the premises of the “Automation Alley” based in Detroit Michigan, Michigan’s leading nonprofit technology and manufacturing business association.

” A group of representatives of American automotive industries welcomed us today at the” Automation Alley ” where we talked about the trade and investment opportunities in Albania and saw a high interest in learning more,” Prime Minister Rama said about this visit.

In the end, we agreed that a mission of “Automation Alley” will come to Albania to see first- hand and gain an insight into everything about the “Open Balkan” initiative and transformation of the market into a free and large market which gives Albania an edge for foreign investment. ”

Director of International Business Services and Global Strategic Partnership, Noel Nevshehir, said that “I have visited Albania before in 1984. Albanians are the warmest and friendliest people one could ever meet in this world and I have traveled to more than 84 countries, but Albanians are awesome. “We are fortunate that here in Michigan, there is a community of 120,000 Albanians, many of whom are friends and associates.”

“I want Albania to know that we value our friendship which is mutually beneficial for both countries. We here at the “Automation Alley” in the state of Michigan will start making the arrangements for a trade mission in Albania and look forward to coming and take advantaging of the friendship and warmth that the country offers. “We are lucky that America has such a good friend as Albania and I look forward to seeing you all when I come to Albania next year myself,” said Nevshehir.
