Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today moments from this festival, which started on June 1 and tonight is scheduled to have the last evening.

“Electrifying atmosphere from Shëngjin, where like never before, 18 thousand participants from the USA, France, England, Switzerland, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania became part of the UNUM festival, which today marks its last evening at Rana e Hedhun”, said Rama on social media.

Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro met the organizers of this festival, who expect over 15,000 participants from all over Europe and the world.

Minister Kumbaro said that this festival, which is a passport for the tourist promotion of Albania, is organized at Rana e Hedhun, under the sign of environment.

“With the boys of Kosovo who organize the UNUM Festival in Shëngjin, Albania and expect over 15,000 participants from all over Europe and the world”, said Kumbaro in a post on social media.

“From June 1st to June 6th, the super event that is a passport for the tourist promotion of Albania is organized at Rana e Hedhun, under the sign of environment. There is no tourism without a clean space and that is why we started collecting waste along the coast before the guests came”, stressed Kumbaro.

UNUM Festival is organized conveying concrete measures for environmental protection with recycling space, educational workshops for recycling, yoga and outdoor sports music and art and volunteers who will raise awareness and collect waste during the festival days.

UNUM Festival was the first European event held last year in the post-pandemic period in the Rana e Hedhun area of ​​Shengjin.

The first European festival organized in the period after the pandemic, UNUM started on Thursday evening to last for about 4 days in a row in the area of ​​Rana e Hedhun in Shengjin, Lezha.

Every person participating in this festival, described as one of the most beautiful cultural events in the Balkans and Europe has been tested negative for Covid while all the staff are vaccinated.

Over 75 world-famous artists, for 24 hours play music on improvised stages in the area of ​​Rana e Hedhun, opening activities of the tourist season in Shengjin. Even for the organizers of UNUM, this event has exceeded expectations while there were sold about 10 thousand tickets.
