TIRANA, June 22 /ATA/ At the Pediatric Orthopaedics Department at the University Trauma Hospital, around 200 children aged 0–1 year with congenital anomalies receive treatment each year through modern surgical techniques, in line with the best international standards.

Parents of children with these congenital conditions said in a video published by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare that, thanks to the professionalism of the medical team and the use of modern diagnostic and treatment methods, young patients are provided with specialised, safe, and effective care, significantly improving their chances for healthy development and a better quality of life.

A parent said that the children’s condition was identified during a morphological ultrasound scan in pregnancy.

“We are now going through the casting process. We will see whether surgery will be necessary. I would tell parents facing such situations to stay calm, as everything will pass,” the parent said.

Other parents who have benefited from these services expressed gratitude for the dedication and care shown by the medical staff, praising not only the professionalism of the team but also the human support provided throughout the treatment and recovery process.

Their messages stand as a testament to trust in the public healthcare system and to the daily work of doctors, nurses, and specialists who care for children’s health.
