The Prime Minister stressed that the agreement signed on Friday in Tirana between the two universities builds the bridges for academic cooperation in training, scientific research, curriculum development and quality assurance.

According to him, “this agreement makes UBT an attractive destination for young people on the path of reform undertaken jointly between the Rectorate and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.”
“It had never occurred to us that opening the doors to the victims of that tragic situation in Afghanistan we bring benefit to this university,” Rama said.

The Prime Minister praised the will of the University of Michigan to become a strategic partner of the University of Tirana, while emphasizing that this agreement will have a significant impact on the life of this university.

“I believe that the Agricultural University of Tirana is one of the universities with a bright future ahead. This is not about bringing the Agricultural University to the level it used to be, dealing with agriculture and the village. “Today the issue is completely different, as they will be centred on humanity, societies and academic elites, sustainable development and capacities to harness natural resources and assets that man creates through interaction with nature,” said Rama.
