Deputy PM Balluku highlighted that the European Union-funded EU4Schools has been one of the most important and most successful cooperation programmes between Albania and UNDP that has delivered tangible outcomes all over Albania.

Balluku also noted that thousands of elementary school pupils and secondary education students now attend the new educational facilities constructed and repaired under the EU4Schools.

The Deputy PM said that during the meeting, she and the visiting UNDP official exchanged views on progress of Albanian government reforms over the past years, the integration process and the UNDP assistance to the country to enhance its public administration capacities.

“Energy efficiency projects were also on focus of talks, with both agreeing on importance of such projects and the essential need for the international partners support,” Balluku added.
