TIRANA, April 25/ATA/ Today, 30,000 fish spawns were spread into Lake Ulëza.

Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, at the same time Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, accompanied by Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro and Mayor of Mati Agron Malaj highlighted the fact that spreading of the fish spawns in the course of the recent years has yielded its result.

Malaj said that this period of spreading the fish spawns into the lake also corresponds to the period of natural increase and keeping the water level at the maximum point, will enable a large increase of fish in Lake Ulza.

For her part, Minister Kumbaro emphasized the significance of cleaning the territory, which would also affect the clean waters of the lakes.

“It is not so distant the time when this lake was filled with the refuse that the municipalities threw in the lake”, stated Kumbaro./r.e/p.s./

TIRANA, May 12 /ATA/ – Uleza, small lakeside village in northern Albania surrounded by other picturesque villages, has become a popular destination for both local and international visitors.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared Thursday images showing the village that has been raised from oblivion thanks to the Urban Renaissance programme.

“Uleza in the district of Mat, home to stunning and fabulous landscape as if having descended from the sky amid lakes and lush forests and most recently raised from the oblivion thanks to the investment projects under the Urban Renaissance programme, is now attracting a growing number of local and foreign visitors,” PM Rama said.

Located between the municipalities of Mat and Mirdite, the regional Ulez Lake Park covers an area of 4 206 hectares at an elevation of 400 m above the sea level.

The Ulez lake is located about an hour drive from Tirana and is a great opportunity for intimate and family tourism. Ulez offers a possibility of enjoying the pure nature and delicious local food. This place is also known for its history and tradition.
