Under the amended decision made by the Council of Ministers during a regular meeting on Wednesday, the legal stay is extended from three to four years.

The Council of Ministers’ decision, initially approved on March 18, 2022, allows Ukrainian nationals to enter and stay in Albania without a due residents permit for a period up to four years.

The Ministry of Interior and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs are responsible for implementing the decision, which will take effect after publication in the Official Gazette.
