The Memorandum was approved pursuant to the law “On international agreements of the Republic of Albania,” proposed by the Ministry of Education and Sports.

The decision enters into force immediately.

The Fulbright Academic Exchange Program is a value added element to enhanced cooperation and strategic partnership with the United States in the area of education, science and research. The program also promotes improvement of the qualification of Albanian students and academics, and it supports joint scientific projects between the two countries.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international academic exchange program sponsored by the United States Government.
