The director of the Road Police Altin Qato, together with the director of the Albanian Road Authority Gentian Gjyli, inspected the Llogora tunnel, for the measures taken to prevent the violation of road traffic rules.

“The tunnel is monitored 24 hours a day with camera surveillance system and speedometers, as well as through the TNT group, in order to prevent violations of traffic rules and guarantee traffic management,” said Qato.

The Director of the Road Police appealed to the citizens to adhere to the road signage placed in the tunnel, in order to increase road safety parameters.
The head of ARA, Gjyli said that “we are in constant coordination with the Traffic Police, to intervene in cases of need that may arise during the operation”.
The Llogora tunnel in Vlora, at a length of 5.9 km, is the most important infrastructural work in the south of the country, which significantly shortens the travel time to the south coast.
