In a meeting today with Socialist women and girls, Rama stated that under the Socialist Party’s governance, Albania’s name and the position of its flag have been elevated internationally each year, reaching levels never achieved before.

“We reached the UN Security Council, while turning Tirana into an international reference point for the region, and for the first time, all EU leaders came to Albania for the first-ever summit held outside the EU,” said Rama.

Rama also noted that on May 16—just five days after Albanians will have draped the country in pink—this very hall will host the welcome ceremony for the leaders of all democratic European nations attending the European Political Community Summit.

“Meanwhile, in 2027, all the leaders of the North Atlantic Alliance will gather in the square across the street for the NATO Summit in Albania. We opened the negotiations, and today we are at a point that was unimaginable when we first took office,” said Rama.

Rama stated that the Socialist Party no longer views the fourth term as just a numerical victory, but as a geopolitical triumph for the benefit of Albania and the Albanian people.
