In Pogradec, work is well underway on the open construction site of three integrated projects, the Tushemisht Promenade, the Driloni Park and the access road to the Tushemisht customs point, where the spaces for tourism will be multiplied, bringing to the fore the natural gems this area is endowed with.
Prime Minister Rama together with the Mayor of Pogradec Ilir Xhakolli, the Director of the ADF Dritan Agolli, as well as engineers and project managers saw first-hand on Tuesday the transformation of one of the landmarks in the city of Pogradec.

“In this area, there are three integrated projects. One of them is the project that was financed by the Albanian-American Fund, which entails the rest of Drilon inside. The second project that is complementary to it, is the one financed by the Albanian Development Fund, which is the Tushemisht promenade together with the piers, footbridge and the access road to the Tushemisht customs point, and the Tushemisht bypass, which is again financed by the Albanian Fund and the World Bank, for the diversion of traffic, – since everything here will become a promenade, a pedestrianized area, – from the village, connecting it to the customs point, for which we completed the expropriation process to hit the ground running within the week,” the Director of ADF Dritan Agolli said, while emphasizing that, “currently we are in an advanced stage of works on both contracts.”

The transformative project not only elevates the infrastructure as a whole to another standard, but also brings architectural innovation, making the public space more attractive and accessible.
