Authorities announced on Sunday that temporary road closures and traffic restrictions will be in effect along several main routes to facilitate the arrival and departure of official delegations on Monday.

Traffic restrictions will affect the routes from Rinas International Airport, through the Kashar Overpass, the Durrës–Tirana Highway, the New Ring Road, Sauk Roundabout, Elbasan Street, and onto “George W. Bush” Street, “Urani Pano” Street, and “Dervish Hima” Street.

The departure routes will include “George W. Bush” Street, Elbasan Street, Sauk Roundabout, the New Ring Road, “Shqiponja” Square, Tirana–Durrës Highway, Kashar Overpass, ending at Rinas Airport.

Additionally, on June 16, there will be temporary restrictions on vehicle traffic, parking, and pedestrian movement on “Ludovik Shllaku” Street and Dibra Street.

The exact schedule of restrictions will depend on the arrival times of delegations at Rinas Airport.

Tirana Police have called for the citizens’ understanding and cooperation, emphasizing that the measures are essential to maintaining order and security during this nationally significant event.
