According to foreign trade statistics published by INSTAT, exports to the United States during the January–May period amounted to 1.8 billion lek, remaining nearly at the same level as in the first five months of 2024.

Meanwhile, the level of imports dropped by over 1 billion lek. According to the data, imports declined to 7.3 billion lek during the first five months of this year, down from 8.8 billion lek in the same period of 2024.

Albania exports a wide range of products to the United States of America.

The most exported products to the United States are aromatic and medicinal herbs, including spices and essential oils, which account for the largest share of exports. These are followed by minerals and other products with a smaller share, such as clothing and food products.
