Actually, there is opened the trackway from the border point with Montenegro to Zogaj.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared in the social media views of the works on this road.

Rama emphasized that the last part of Shiroka-Zogaj road, a new border point with Montenegro, passes over the village of Zogaj, but is practically opened as a new track on an existing path.

Meanwhile, Rama added, the entire segment from Shiroka onwards will also have sidewalks and bicycle lanes.

This project is being implemented by the ALB Star company, which won the 4.7-million-euro contract, while the works are expected to be completed on October 2, 2025.

Shiroka-Zogaj Road-New border point with Montenegro (Krajë) is part of the investment mosaic on the western shore of Lake Shkodra. This road is expected to promote tourism in the area, in addition to have a better access to infrastructure for local communities. /j.p/p.s./
