The news was announced on Tuesday by Prime Minister Edi Rama on his social media account, adding that this is a remarkable achievement unimaginable until a few years ago.

“Good news. Together with Christmas, the number of foreign tourists in Albania exceeded 10,000,000; a fantastic achievement unimaginable until a few years ago,” the Prime Minister writes in his post.
From January to November 30, Albania was visited by 9.53 million foreign tourists. Compared to the January-November period of 2022, there is an increase of 33%.

The month of November alone recorded a figure of 547,221 foreign visitors, a significant increase (53%) more compared to November of the previous year, which confirms the increasing trends to visit Albania all year round, a positive indicator of year-round tourism growth. /m.m/sm/
