Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku, also Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, published images of this axis, calling it an axis with significant impact on the development of tourism in the area.

The Korçë-Ersekë road axis was 45 kilometers at length, with the completion of the new segment, the distance is reduced to 35 kilometers.
The construction of this road spurs further touristic development of the southeast of the country by bringing closer two areas with great potential, such as Korça and Erseka.
