TIRANA, Dec 30 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Tuesday that Albania’s tourism revenues in the first nine months of 2025 reached around 4.4 billion euros.

Speaking at a year-end news conference, Rama provided an overview of economic performance by sector, noting that tourism had recorded positive growth.

“Based on the facts, not on speculation, tourism has seen a significant increase compared with 2024, with growth approaching 7% in the number of foreign visitors,” Rama said, adding that this figure does not include Albanian passport holders.

The prime minister also highlighted a substantial expansion of public beach areas, which grew by more than 18% compared with last year, adding around 1.1 million square meters.

“The number of public coastal parcels has increased from 523 to 1,014, and we continue to work on further positive innovations for the next season,” he said.
