The number of passengers arriving at the port by ferry from Corfu to Saranda, including daily tourists, has reached an all-time high, especially during the summer months.

The director of the Port of Saranda, Alket Qendro, told ATA that, “from January to the end of September, 547,250 foreign and Albanian travellers have arrived and departed from the port, while 2023 saw 514,570 arrivals and departures.”

According to him, the highest flow of travellers was recorded in July and August.

Saranda has also become a harbour for luxury yachts, sailboats, and cruise ships, with 50 tourist ships arriving at the port from January 1 to September 26, of which 25 were cruises with tourists of various nationalities.

Saranda is located in the bay of the Ionian Sea and is considered one of the most beautiful cities on the Albanian Riviera.
