The project aims to support the region’s agro-economic development by promoting cooperation among institutions, farmers, academia and stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

The event was attended by Blerina Gjylameti, head of the National Food Authority (AKU); Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi; Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Arjan Jaupllari; and Lorenc Ekonomi, rector of the University of Korçë.

Agricultural development and food safety are regarded as interconnected priorities. Supporting domestic production, strengthening food safety and quality standards, and fostering institutional cooperation are essential to building a safe and sustainable food chain.
