TIRANA, May 22 /ATA/ In spring the streets of the capital and lovely spots of Albania are livened up by events and abuzz with foreign tourists, but this year Tirana seems privileged due to the great interest driven by the UEFA Conference League Final “Roma-Feyenoord” which is played for the first time in the Albanian capital.

Groups of tourists and fans have packed the streets, taking advantage of the sunny weather and greenery to enjoy the city, in the run-up to the much-anticipated match. Foreign tourists are keen to explore the historical and cultural values of Tirana strolling through the boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit,” the revamped Bazaar, but also in the most beautiful museums and parks around Tirana.

The data show an increase in the number of tourists, as some of them have come a few days ago to visit the Albanian capital.

Organized into tourist groups, their itinerary includes visits to the main attractions of Tirana, but also sightseeing in the old neighborhoods and colorful buildings, where they get acquainted with the history of Tirana and savor the local culinary delights.
The spot that continues to attract many visitors is the “Scanderbeg” square, in the center of Tirana. Already turned into an up-and-coming attraction due to the modern and contemporary reconstruction, this square has become an added value for the city tourism, where there are so many activities going on that everyone is spoilt for choice.

Tirana is undoubtedly one of the liveliest and most transformed cities in Southeast Europe. It has become a tourist attraction for foreign tourists from the region, Europe and beyond. The transformation beyond recognition of Tirana is also making headlines in the most popular magazines all over the world.
