Tirana’s Skanderbeg Square has transformed into a diplomatic hub as the welcoming ceremony for the 6th European Political Community Summit unfolds. With the House of Europe set up as the event’s focal point, Prime Minister Edi Rama, the summit’s host, is greeting arriving leaders on the red carpet.

Guests at Skanderbeg Square are also being welcomed with performances featuring traditional Albanian dance and music, adding a vibrant cultural touch to the ceremony.

Throughout the day, the summit will feature plenary sessions and roundtable discussions, where leaders will engage in high-level talks on pressing European issues.
The sixth European Political Community Summit begins on Friday in Tirana under the slogan “New Europe in a New World,” marking its first-ever meeting in the Western Balkans. The event brings together leaders, heads of state and government from 47 European countries, along with key figures from major European and international institutions.
