The Regional Administration of Protected Areas in Gjirokastra announced on Monday that, “on Saturday and Sunday the Thermal Springs of Bënjë, declared a Natural Monument, attracted a significant number of local and foreign visitors.”

Thermal water springs are natural and they comprise six small baths that form natural lakes of a precious beauty.

In total, there are 6 springs at the foot of massive rocks, on both sides of the river Lengarica. Sulfur-based springs have very high curative effects of which 4 sources are used for chronic rheumatic diseases, another for stomach disease, and the last for skin disease. //a.i/
