For this edition, held in conjunction with the 20th Albanology Seminar, the DPA showcased its publications spanning years of work, focusing on significant periods and figures in the nation’s history. The materials displayed at the DPA stand also included studies on archival methodology within the Albanian-speaking regions.

Today, the DPA will conclude its participation in the fair by presenting its latest publications: the monographs *Nikollë Bej Ivanaji: His Dimension in Archival Documents (1879–1951) * and *Guide to Italian-Language Documents at the Central State Archives (AQSH): Personal and Family Collections*.

Attending the opening of the fair yesterday was President of the Academy of Sciences of Albania, Academician Skënder Gjinushi, and the Rector of the University of Tetovo, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti. This fair, which brought together publishers, institutions, scientific bodies and representatives of several Albanian universities was organized by the University of Tetovo through the Directorate of the Albanology Seminar. /j.p/p.s./

The heads of the 2 institutions held a working meeting in Tetovo, where they discussed the continuation of cooperation in the field of education and scientific research.

Rector of the University of Tetovo, prof. dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti expressed his consideration for the Academy of Albanological Studies, for the significant contribution and role for the development of higher education and scientific research, while he acquainted the heads of this Academy with the developments at the University of Tetovo and the progress of the teaching-scientific process. He added that the agreement signed some time ago between the University of Tetovo and the Academy of Albanian Studies, according to him, should be expanded with other elements and forms of cooperation, which are in function of joint scientific projects, the opening of new programs, with emphasis especially in the opening of the archeology study program at the University of Tetovo.

Meanwhile, Rector of Academy of Albanological Studies Luan Perzhita thanked the leadership of the University of Tetovo for the hospitality in this institution, which according to him is an emblem of higher education in the Albanian language for the Albanians of the Republic of North Macedonia and beyond. In the capacity of the head of the Academy of Albanological Studies, he expressed his willingness not only to cooperate in various projects, but also to help the University of Tetovo with lecturers who would engage in teaching in the Archeology study program. He stated that their institution prioritizes scientific research, but also studies in the second cycle and the third cycle, not overlooking a multitude of projects carried out with institutions, well-known universities and joint international programs.

Rector Përzhita stated that in the framework of the exchange of university staff, every lecturer of the University of Tetovo can consider the Academy of Albanological Studies as their home, for research, initiatives and important projects./p.s./

After praising her for the work done for the transformation of the city, Veliaj wished Arifi wins another term in office in the October 17 local election race.

“It is always a pleasure to be in Tetovo! Every time I come I see new things, a new boulevard, bike lanes, new buses; well done to you and the whole team. The fact that the city has become better, cleaner; more modern is yours and the team’s merit. Thanks to the coordination office that we will have in the municipality of Tetovo. It will be a little easier to learn from each other,” said Veliaj.

On her part, Mayor Arifi said that the cooperation with Tirana will deepen even more with the opening of the municipalities’ union office in the municipality of Tetovo.

“It is always a special pleasure to have Erion here. We spoke together as we have always spoken in a fraternal way. We had not an easy time, a time when we struggled in a new phase of the pandemic. Yet, it is not just the hard and heavy things that are between us. Tetovo is preparing to open the offices of the union of municipalities’ right here with us and the cooperation within the union and with Tirana, which is the great love of Tetovo and the people of Tetovo remains our interest, “said Arifi./p.s./
