The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance have approved a new directive that simplifies documentation during the application process.

Farmers need to confirm their agricultural activity by providing either an input invoice or a sales receipt for their production. Additionally, the directive mandates proof of land ownership, such as certificates or lease agreements.

“This year, farmers working the land—whether as owners or those using it under a lease or loan agreement—must, in addition to the required documents for parcel identification and ownership verification, submit an invoice confirming either the sale of their production or the purchase of inputs such as seeds or chemical fertilizers,” stated Ardita Kuçi, Director General of ARDA, for public broadcaster.

Applications will remain open until May 30, 2025. Last year, more than 52,000 farmers across the country benefited from this scheme.
