According to the opposition, the company “Albarent” has not paid any taxes for seven years, and the government allegedly waived 1.2 million euros owed by Minister Gonxhja.

“‘Albarent,’ managed by my spouse, maintains a compliant relationship with the tax authorities. I was not serving as minister in 2023. According to the ‘General Ledger,’ €2.3 million have been paid in tax obligations over the past 15 years, and another document confirms that current liabilities stand at zero.”

Gonxhja stated, “I stress that the company ‘Albarent’ has not benefited under any tax amnesty and has never had any tax obligations waiven, contrary to the false claims of the opposition’s so-called ‘voice of shame.’”
