TIRANA, March 29 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ DP MP, Jorida Tabaku, reacted on Tuesday at a press conference with regard to investigation into the case of incinerators. She called on SPAK to act against people vested with power as well.

“To whom that has been concerned, today there was a new development taking place, which seen from the perspective of the work of the Commission is hopeful but not enough. In our view, there was a step forward in the investigation of incinerators, but this step with regard to the investigation of incinerators and the work of the commission, is not enough, “,said Tabaku.

Tabaku also stressed that the issues of the three incinerators should be investigated jointly.

“Albanians have expected SPAK to show courage and act and react to people in power. We waited for the SPAK to act beyond political responsibilities and we waited for the SPAK to perform the task that the DP voted for. Several persons have been arrested. We believe that the issues of Elbasan, Fier and Tirana should be investigated as one, because these people have not acted in an isolated way or on their own, all these people have taken joint decisions. The press release of SPAK, in addition to the names of those arrested, contained also the request of SPAK for the arrest of Alqi Bllako, who is a new development,” she said.

Tabaku stressed that “SPAK investigations are a positive development, a development to be hailed, but no one can declare victory as long as persons with political responsibilities are not brought to justice and my call for SPAK is to handle the investigations of Fier, Tirana and Elbasan as one case.” /a.a/sm/
