In a posting on social networks, Tabaku emphasized that the connection between power and money has eroded even more the democracy and meritocracy in our country.

Tabaku points out that democracy in Albania is still fragile.

“In countries like Albania, where democracy is still fragile owing to a new justice, the connection between power and money has eroded democracy and meritocracy even more. The recent files have shown that the higher in power, the more the number of contracts and the wealth accumulated,” Tabaku says.

“Time is proving that the fight against corruption is not only an opportunity for SPAK to establish the rule of law, but also an opportunity for Albanians to understand who protected the corrupt all these years and who denounced them in the floor of the Assembly, ” Tabaku said.

“The progressive corruption tax cannot be the present and let alone the future of an Albania that has great opportunities ahead,” the DP MP, Jorida Tabaku, said in her post.
