Rama stated that without his efforts, the support of the people of Tirana, the Socialist Party, and Erion Veliaj’s contributions, the city would not have transformed into the European-like place it is today, where everyone—regardless of their role—walks proudly.

Rama emphasized that today, the citizens of Tirana go about their daily lives, taking their children to nurseries, kindergartens, and schools that are on par with those in the European Union.
“They take their loved ones to hospitals that are up to EU standards. They enjoy walks in parks with their retired parents, even jogging by the lake in parks resembling those in Europe—in stark contrast to the park where the last civil conflict in Tirana took place, with groups from the opposition swamp, armed with pistols, clashing with municipal police to clear space for a playground,” added Rama.
