According to the Lezha Police Directorate, the police forces created a security cordon and called on the suspect to surrender himself, but the citizen Aldi Rama, did not respond to the police call to surrender, but inflicted a self-harm with his weapon.

He is being transported to hospital in life-threatening condition.

The weapon and mobile phone were seized on the spot.
