This is the result of the survey that the Bank of Albania published on Friday, for one of the points of the survey, on the financial situation and borrowing of families in the first 6 months of 2023.

According to this survey, the result of 92% has remained unchanged compared to the previous six months and has decreased by 1pp compared to a year ago. While 3% declare that they “own more than 2 real estates” (house and land/shop, etc.) and 5% declared that they own one property.

In the group of families that declare financial assets, it turns out that deposits and/or bank accounts continue to remain the main type of financial investment, both in the case of families as a whole (51% of reported cases) and in the case of borrowing families (50% of reported cases).

Both of these shares have decreased in six-month and annual terms.
The next survey was conducted on a random sample of 1203 families, where about 88% of them (1055 families) participated in the interview process by fully or partially answering the questions of the questionnaire.
