Rama, who is making an official visit to Luxembourg, announced that the meeting focused on financial and technical support for Albania and the region.

Prime Minister Rama also took part in the panel “The road to enlargement” which focused on the role that the most important financial institutions can play on the road to EU integration.

“At the European Investment Bank to increase financial and technical support for Albania and the region, as well as at the panel organized by the EIB for the European Union enlargement process, where Albania was invited as a shining example of this process in the Western Balkans,” Prime Minister Rama said in a post on his social media account.

A day ago, Prime Minister Edi Rama also met with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Luc Frieden, whom he considered a staunch supporter of Albania’s integration into the EU.

Rama said that his counterpart Frieden and him agreed on implementation of the agreement on removal of double taxation after Albania was taken off the grey list.
