“Currently the number of positive cases is picking up. There are over 9 thousand active cases. The number of hospitalizations is about 30. This means that there is also an increase in cases with symptoms, which aggravate the health situation, requiring hospitalization. It is very important, especially at the moment we are going through, but also to precede a potential resurgence in the fall, given that new sub-variants are expected to be around. It is important especially for those who have concomitant diseases, for the elderly, to receive the booster dose, the fourth dose of the vaccine. And I believe this is the right moment”, said Manastirliu.
During the visit to the summer health center in the city of Pogradec, Minister Manastirliu informed that vacationers have accessed about 15 thousand health services in 29 summer health centers throughout the country.

“There are more than 1,000 vacationers who received services at this summer center in Pogradec during the period from June 15 to today. While across the country, in 29 summer health centers from north to south, we have provided more than 15 thousand health services to vacationers and tourists, of whom four thousand are foreign tourists who received services in this center”, said Manastirliu.
