In a televised interview, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, mentioned that subsidy schemes deliver the greatest impact on beneficiaries, accounting for nearly 40% of the Ministry’s total budget.

Denaj stated that direct financial support for farmers, through agricultural subsidies, will also see an increase in the coming year.

“With a fund of 4.4 billion lek, the budget for 2025 is about 1 billion lek higher compared to 2024, while the actual budget for 2025 is expected to reach 55 million euros,” stated the minister.

According to her, in the 2025 budget for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the subsidy scheme will prioritize support for key sectors in the field, including: agricultural production, livestock, agritourism, mechanization, and more. /j.p/sm/
