For the measure “Registered basic herd”, farmers benefit 1,200 Lek/head, but not more than 360,000 Lek per subject, for the registered basic herd (breeding animals), for farms with not less than 70 sheep and/or goats , while for farms with not less than 5 cows, in the amount of 10, 000 Lek/head, but not more than 500,000 Lek per subject.

The Agricultural and Rural Development Agency-ARDA announced today that, so far, 90% of farmers on the eligible list of beneficiaries have received direct payments.

Meanwhile, ARDA has twice reduced the funding line by adding over 180 other farmers to the qualification list.

Last year, 3,389 farmers were supported by provided with subsidy payments. During this year, the number of applications increased by 80% compared to the average number of applications in the previous 3 years. //a.i/

“1713 beneficiary farmers of the National Support Scheme for Agriculture 2021 have been provided with subsidy payments until June 25, 2021,” ARDA announced on Saturday.

The National Support Scheme for Agriculture 2021 has made available a fund of 804 million ALL, to support farmers through subsidy payments.

According to official data, over 2,900 farmers have so far qualified as beneficiaries of one of the 9 measures supported by this National Scheme. //a.i/
