Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a post on social media, shared images from the kickoff of the works as well as from the project for construction of this faculty.

Rama said that the construction site for the Faculty of Professional Studies at “Aleksandër Mosiu” University in Durrës is up and running, where investments are being made to build a space with 45 auditoriums, 15 laboratories, conference rooms, sports grounds and facilities for 1700 students and 80 lecturers and academic staff.

The Ministry of Education and Sports through this year’s budget will invest 1.5 billion lek for the upgrading of academic infrastructure, internationalization and scientific research in higher education.

The Faculty of Professional Studies at “Aleksandër Mosiu” University aims to create a modern and quality system of professional education in the country. Such a system contributes to the continuous development of professional skills and citizenship of young people, through the provision of professional qualifications, to match not only the needs of economic and social development of the country, but also beyond.
