TIRANA, June 17 /ATA/ The empowerment of Albanian businesses and startups was the highlight of a meeting held by Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, Delina Ibrahimaj, with partners from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the National Economic Council.

Ibrahimaj appreciated the support of the EBRD, which for years has been a key partner for Albania in building entrepreneurial capacities, increasing access to finance, and enhancing business competitiveness.

“We are moving ahead with projects aimed at promoting Albania’s offering in international markets and attracting new investments,” the minister stated.

Focusing on the work already initiated with trainings on the EU single market, Ibrahimaj announced that a national study will soon be launched to assess the readiness of enterprises for the development of concrete programs addressing their actual needs.

Ibrahimaj stated that “in partnership with the EBRD and other international partners, we are establishing the necessary mechanisms for dedicated consultancy and expertise, so that Albanian businesses are better prepared to absorb European Union funds.”

She referred to the cooperation as further proof of the government’s commitment to developing a modern and sustainable economy that is ready to integrate into European markets. /j.p/sm/
