In a post on social media, Spiropali, who also represents the Albanian government at this high-level summit, shared a photo of her with the US Vice President Harris at the end of the first day of the summit, at the leaders’ dinner hosted by the President of Switzerland, Viola Amherd.

“At the Peace Summit for Ukraine with the Vice President of the United States of America, Kamala Harris, whom it was a pleasure to meet at the end of the first day of the summit, at the leaders’ dinner hosted by the President of Switzerland, Viola Amherd,” the minister writes.

100 delegations participated in the summit, including 57 heads of state and government from around the world. The aim of the summit is to initiate a peace process, generate confidence and outline ideas for the next steps towards such a process.

All the states present must be given the opportunity to present their visions for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
