Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by the mayor of Durrës, Emiriana Sako, inspected on Tuesday the works being carried out in this neighborhood.

Rama said that “the new neighborhood of Reconstruction program continues to take shape after the devastating earthquake.  It will not only house 996 affected families, but will turn into a model urban area, with green spaces, public services, sports grounds and so on and so forth.”

It will be the largest and one of the most beautiful neighborhoods built as part of the Reconstruction Program, a generous gift from the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates to families who were left homeless by the earthquake.
