During the meeting, Spiropali expressed gratitude for the cooperation with the Socialist Party so far and appreciated the contribution that the International Republican Institute has made as part of the program for strengthening political parties and good governance.

“New collaborations are waiting for us”, said the Minister.
Since yesterday, Minister Spiropali is making an official visit to Washington DC.

As part of this visit, she held a meeting with Julie M. Stufft, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Visa Services at the Bureau of Consular Affairs, as well as with representatives of the “Open Government Partnership” (OGP).

Spiropali also held a meeting with Brian Vogt, Senior Advisor for Democracy, Human Rights and Governance at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Democracy Summit team.
