Addressing an event at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Manastirliu said that the newly-graduated doctors will reinforce medical teams to ensure delivery of specialized care and treatment to patients all over the country.

“We are determined to keep moving along the path we have embarked for eight years now after reopening the doctors’ specializing degree program. Around 500 specialty doctors have already joined the country’s health system since then, significantly narrowing the gap over the years,” Health Minister said.

She said that with the record pay rise of over 50,000 lek most recently and the improved working conditions at hospitals, young practitioners will definitely become an added value as they will deliver quality care to patients throughout country.
