TIRANA, July 13 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Tuesday that any case of institutions failing to follow the recommendations of the Public Procurement Agency will go to SPAK.

During a meeting at the Prime Minister’s office on the new package of public procurement, Rama said that, “at this moment it is very important to conduct a serious analysis of the capacity of our human resources, because one of the setbacks associated with it is the poor level of understanding the process itself, which then creates a spillover effect and causes the process to degrade and produce disgusting results. ”

“The major goal of all this effort and the major impetus behind the whole process crowned with the new legal package is to give everyone his due in this country and hold anyone to account,” Rama said.

“Of course it is easier to speak than to act because the process per se is complex. It is a process for which the EU itself continues to look for ways and legal means to perfect it, but it is entirely possible, it is viable for this country to get for a short time, not long, to another level in the field of public procurement, making some simple things not at all complicated, ” said Rama.

“First of all, guaranteeing that every institution works as a link, not as a bayrak. It functions as part of a chain where communication must be, not 99%, but 100% guaranteed, ” Rama emphasized.
