TIRANA, Feb 21 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ / The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime has reacted on Monday regarding the meeting with the chairwoman of the commission of investigation for urban waste treatment plants, Jorida Tabaku.

Same sources say that the Head of the Special Prosecution Office held a meeting with Ms. Jorida Tabaku, Member of Parliament of the Republic of Albania, Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry for incinerators. The meeting was held at the request of Ms. Tabaku.

“The Special Prosecution is determined to administer every fact and every clue related to the investigation as part of criminal proceedings registered in the case of incinerators, wherever they come from, especially from the Commission of Inquiry set up by parliament,” the SPAK statement reads.

“On the other hand, we assure the public opinion that prosecutors are independent in their investigation, in their decision-making and will analyze in a legitimate, unbiased and objective way any claim, clue or evidence presented by all parties who have knowledge about the process,” same sources say.
