For this, we need justice and the courts,” said Rama.

When asked about the arrests within the ranks of the Socialist Party, the Prime Minister stated, “This is why we have built the new justice system.”

“My moral responsibility is that justice should not be stopped, that it has the full support it needs, and that anyone who hides behind the banner of the Socialist Party to commit any wrongdoing should be uncovered and held to account. I feel relieved when someone who has received a mandate from the PS, trust from me to serve at any level of the executive, if found to have abused that trust, is exposed and held to account by the justice system,” said Rama.
