“It is in a rush to become Europe in the Balkans, it has the will to see the Balkans as a European home. Albania is running to overcome its historical obstacles and delays, to do in as a few years as possible what other countries have done in the course of tens and hundreds of years, often going through bloody roads”, Spiropali said in her remarks.

“Freedom and the rule of law are not acts that are achieved overnight, not even in a few years, they are processes that require patience, sacrifice and determination, ideas and vision, commitment and tolerance,” she emphasized.

“We the socialists of Albania have proven that we know how to take responsibility and be responsible for Albania’s destiny. This is our destiny, which has been carved in marble by the repeated will of the Albanian citizen 8 times in 9 subsequent elections under the stewardship of Edi Rama”, she said.

Spiropali emphasized that, “Albania is living extraordinary days. This extraordinary SP Congress is part of our efforts to be a catalyst for change and self-correction. The Congress is part of the answers we give day by day with our service. Service for a country and in a country that we know how it was, we see it as it is and we dream of how it will be. It has become more developed, more respected, safer and more prosperous.”

“In the political glossary of the Balkans, the word history is often repeated, but we know very well that our political mission is to change like Albania. Our political organization must change even faster to win the battle with time. To triumph in our national mission to make Albania the Europe of the Balkans. To compare not with what we found, but with what we can do differently. What can we do even better, more beautiful and faster,” said Spiropali.
