At the meeting, the chairman of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, said that work should start as soon as possible on constitutional changes to extend the Vetting process.

The Parliament of Albania commenced on September 10 the proceedings for the 10th Legislature.

The parliament emerged from April 25 numbers 140 lawmakers.

In the April 25 elections, the Socialist Party secured 74 seats, the DP-AC coalition 59 seats, the SMI 4 seats and the SDP 3 seats./m.m/j.p/sm/
