Vata/ The Democratic Party stated on Sunday that every vote for Ilir’s house is a vote for Rama.

The DP statement states that Berisha and his candidates are part of the SMI, they have nothing to do with the DP.

“Sali Berisha continues to manipulate the Democrats. The candidates of Ilir’s house today represent Ilir Meta and have nothing to do with the DP. Some people from the House of Ilir find it difficult to give up on their past, but every vote for this house is a vote for the next Meta-Rama deal. Albanians know very well that the Democratic Party is one thing, and the SMI is another. Sali Berisha and his candidates are already part of the SMI and although they seem to be ashamed of joining this party, they have nothing to do with the DP, no matter how much they cheat the electorate by using its name and symbols. Democrats know how Ilir Meta used the power and their votes for the deal with Edi Rama in 2013. Today he is doing the same. Therefore, whoever chooses Meta and Berisha, votes for Rama to stay in power,” the DP statement reads.
