The project aims to improve security in the community, protect life, private property, and monitor road traffic. This is achieved through a comprehensive technological solution system.

“Overall, there are 90 surveillance cameras, meanwhile the aim of the project is to have at least 1000 security cameras. The cameras will not only be monitored by humans, but also by artificial intelligence. So it’s the camera itself that detects this incident due to the use of the belt, or uncontrolled movements, which can cause road accidents, so the camera itself tracks them and we won’t need to check the footage, because 1000 cameras will not be checked by 1000 people. Even the radars will be interconnected in this system, so they will all be together, including the body cameras,” Balla said during the conversation with the engineers while visiting the operating room in Tirana.

“City, police, traffic cameras and radars will be interconnected in an online system,” the specialist said.
